"AUTREMENT" is the fruit of the union between tradition and modernity, to which Mbekoum has done a lot of research about this union during several years. It is a way for her to establish a link between her roots, her ancestral knowledge and her modern aspirations of contemporary artist.Wearing a red and bright yellow costume as a symbol of the warmth and desire that lives in her, Mbekoum shows us a new creation.
With only one musician on stage, a very intimate relationship exists between the audience and the dancer at the sound of the percussion. She combines passages of delicacy of an intense poetry, with moments of crazy energy, during which the rhythm of the trance replaces held up gestures.
